SEASONAL REGATTA TIPS

General Seasonal Regatta Info:

  • Regattas begin every Tuesday @ 8 AM UTC (3 AM EST/1 AM PST). They last for 6 days and end the following Monday @ 8 AM UTC (3 AM EST/1 AM PST).

  • Participating in the Regatta is checked by default. To opt out of the Regatta you must uncheck the "participate in regatta" box in the Additional Settings.

  • If a player opts out during a race it will only affect their racing status for the next Regatta! If players leave the co-op during a Regatta race while their status was 'racing' your co-op will not lose any points. However, if the player(s) left before finishing all tasks it will put your co-op at a disadvantage. Points from players who are kicked will remain, but all their rewards will be forfeit.

  • If all members in the co-op opt out of the race your co-op will be demoted at the end of the Regatta week.

General Task Info:

  • Tasks are randomly generated, each with a set probability of appearing depending on the length of the task. Tasks that have a lower level requirement, and take less time have less probability of appearing in higher leagues. For example, the probabilities of plane and train tasks increase in higher leagues, while farming, helicopter orders, and feeding tasks decrease.

  • Do not start a task then dump it, you will lose the task and the points, which will cost your co-op. However, near the end of the race members with tasks leftover doing difficult tasks should dump them. This can allow them to finish the remainder doing easier or shorter tasks. Multiple low point tasks yield a higher score than one high point task.

  • Deleting vs. Dumping: Deleting means removing a task from the board without taking it. These tasks don't count towards the number of tasks you are allowed to do. The trash can for deleting is BLUE. Dumping means starting a task and then giving up. These tasks count towards the number of tasks you are allowed to do. Effectively dumping loses your co-op points since you have one task less, just like failing a task. The trash can for dumping is RED.

Suggested Regatta Prep and Practices:

Below you'll find suggestions to help you prepare and preform in the Regatta.

  • Check the time on a task before selecting it and set an alarm on your device so you don't miss the task deadline!

  • Choose the faster tasks on the board that you have prepped for (e.g. House of Luck, Mining, Animal Feeding, Animal Collection, Helicopters) before selecting slower tasks (e.g. Trains, planes, Zoo, Islands)

  • BARN: Depending on your barn’s size and factory shelves stock two of each item or whatever is suitable to your situation.

  • ADOPT AN ISLAND: Send all four boats with a silver ingot to an island of your choice. The ingot increases your chance to use the goods because it qualifies you for two task types (e.g. salmon or shrimp). Announce you island voyage in chat and form an Island Buddy Alliance with other players willing to hit the remaining islands. Buy the favorable voyage booster when you select the task and make the necessary ingots for your second trip if applicable.

  • PIGGY BACKING ISLANDS: You can sometimes piggy back island tasks. Say you’ve selected a shrimp task, when unloading your last shrimp boats, hold the salmon portion and you're already prepped to start a salmon task. If you have a boost activated this can be extra satisfying.

  • PLANE: Have a fully loaded plane ready to go for an open plane task.

  • TRAINS: Have all three trains loaded and ready to go. Hold on sending thank you clovers, then all you have to do is thank your helpers to send your trains.

  • HELICOPTERS: Green light all your helicopter orders. Account for this in your barn calculations so you still have two of each item in backstock.

  • ZOO: Have a full complement of zoo orders filled and ready, again just send the clovers to place the orders. Prep “Hot Items” for the Zoo while you’re waiting for your remaining orders to populate.

  • MINE: Save your mining supplies for mining tasks. There's no set amount of supplies that will guarantee mining 58 ore as a great deal depends on luck and sometimes you can get by with relatively few supplies. However, storing a hundred or so picks plus a dozen dynamite and TNT should be sufficient for one task. If you're able to make use of the See the Light booster, you will be able to mine more with less equipment.

  • FEEDING/ANIMALS: Keep your feed mills fully stocked. If you have 3 feeders, we recommend 1 each devoted to cows and chickens and the third to cycle through the other three feed types. Load the cow and chicken feeders completely both shelves and cues.

  • HOUSE OF LUCK: Save up 30 clovers to instantly complete the 135pnt. HOL task. Your Town Hall can hold up to 100 and the House of Luck will hold up to 50. Keep an eye on them and collect and play occasionally between regatta tasks so that you don't miss out on any potential clovers when your storage gets full.

  • CROPS: Manage your crop cycle so that at some point in the race, you can take a growing task.

  • PRODUCTION TASKS: The following are items that can be prepared and on your shelves before the Regatta starts. Of course, the tasks aren't guaranteed, but it can significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to complete a factory task. We recommend always keeping 1-2 shelves free so you can replenish your stores or produce for other tasks.
